Below is an extract of a letter that we have received from one of the families of a resident that lived at Anglican Care's Warnervale Gardens Hostel.  The DeSilva family wanted to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Warnervale Gardens Hostel for the care they provided to their family member.  The family have given their permission for the letter to be reproduced in part on our website.

We would like to express our appreciation for everthing that you have done for our brother George.

Words will never be able to say what we both feel for you all.

We have made new friendships in our lives, which we will both cherish forever.

We have so many wonderful memories of George at Warnervale Gardens, in both good and not so good times.  All of you, as well as us two, can relate to moments that we have shared.

We recognise that everyone that works at Warnervale Gardens provides excellent care to all the clients at the Centre, over and above their normal roles with love, respect and dignity.  We know.

George has always been in a loving home situation in his life, and when the time came, that the family had to make a choice, on where George was going to reside with care, we can assure you that we chose the best place there is, in Warnervale.

We feel so lucky that George was accepted into Warnervale Gardens for the last part of his journey in life.

We watched him laugh, we watched him cry, but we have been blessed to have shared him in our lives.  He gave out a special something to all of us in some way or another.
