Community Building Partnership 2011 - Applications open now

The NSW Government will conduct the Community Building Partnership (CBP) program in 2011. The CBP program provides funds for community groups and local councils to invest in community infrastructure throughout the State.

Community organisations and local councils are once again encouraged to apply for funding to build and improve community facilities in their local area. Grant funding of up to $300,000 is available for every electoral district with an additional $100,000 for the forty eight electorates previously identified with higher unemployment rates.

RDA-Hunter's AESOP Program a NSW Training Awards Finalist - 15/09/11

RDA Hunter’s Aboriginal Employment Opportunities Program (AEOP) will tonight be judged in the NSW Training Awards. AEOP is among finalists in the Industry Collaboration Award category.

AEOP was designed to improve employment and training outcomes for Aboriginal people in the Hunter by bridging the divide between employers and Aboriginal communities.

A Vision for Energy & Resources in the Hunter - 2/09/11

The Minister for Resources, Energy and Tourism, The Hon Martin Ferguson AM MP, has today addressed members of the Hunter business community, as keynote speaker at a Regional Development Australia (RDA) Hunter luncheon. Public information briefings were recently held in Scone and Newcastle to business and interested community members so that they may learn of the full capacity of high speed broadband.
